Screen Actors Gild Awards? What do you think so far?????

Yes, watching right now. And Alec Baldwin did win an award for 30 Rock.
Right now Julie Andrews is receiving special award.
I am finding this award show right on the money as far as being tight and to the point. And the actors in general seem so moved at being voted an award by their peers. I loved the piece about the actors who do voice overs. And delightful to see the reunited cast of Mary Tyler Moore.
As far as the awards, this set seems to echo the Golden Globes a lot: Eddie Murphy for example for Dream Girls. Helen Mirren, America for Ugly Betty. I don't think there have been any real surprises yet.
Jennifer Hudson just won for Dreamgirls.
Grey's Anatomy won for best dramatic supporting ensemble.
Isiah Washington was not present tonight.
Chandra Wilson of Grey's Anatomy previously won individual award for dramatic actress....acceptance speech very touching: said "thank you screen actors guild for taking me as I am".
Last minute addition:
Helen Mirren won a 2nd award! and Forrest Whitacker won for "King of Scotland".
The one surprise (for me) was saved for last--best ensemble in a movie did NOT go to Babel OR Dreamgirls, it went to "Little Miss Sunshine".

Nope, I am at work right now and I have the internet (obviously) but no tv. Well, we have it, but its in the break room, but sometimes the supervisors bring it out on the floor so they can watch the games, but they would never watch the SAG awards.

NOt watching it right now, probebly explains why i am on the computer.recording it on Tivo. Cross your fingers that someone on 30 ROCK will win something, like alec baldwin, tina fey, or tracy morgan, PLEEZE tell me if they have!!!!!!

i'm happy for america too. she seems so humble everytime she receives these awards.
red carpet wise, anne hathaway looked SO elegant, and so did nicolette sheridan (what a surprise).
