Make a low budget movie show it to prospectors and ask if they want to sponser you. It is a long process so don't give up. If it is your passion never quit. Good luck and see you in hollywood.

I went to film school and I didn't have any money to make a film. However I did qualify for financial aid. Part of the financial aid allowed me to request a special loan to make a film! I drew up the budget for how much film and expenses would cost and they gave me several thousand dollars because it was a project through an advanced film class. It was the kind of loan that someday I have to pay back but if you qualify sometimes you can get those free loans that you don't have to pay back, you would just have to find out your eligibility status. So you can do it on your own but if you are serious about film you would enjoy film school. You get access to equipment and your classmates can be your crew. You can find actors through the drama department and if you enjoy working on films in general you can help your friends out on their films and make great contacts for down the line! Best of luck to you!

Try making one from a home video.. I've heard of several small films that have made it from this.. or at least if it is good.. it will get noticed :)

Write scripts to showcase your talent. You can use the scripts to get an agent or investors or sell them to raise money.
