No it won't harm it but unless your car needs it there is no point in doing it. Look in your manual and see what it says to use.

I had a Sebring before & I never had problems with it. I always used regular and it ran great. Once every few months or so, I would put in a higher grade gas just to clean anything out. Other than that I always used regular.

there is no reason to increase the octane. this vehicle is designed to run on 87 octane gas. buying any other grade is a waste of money. a higher octane doesn't improve gas mileage or performance, only the fuel's resistance to detonation

Going up a grade will have no efect on your car. The higher grades have more detergents and chemicals to clean your fuel system, but it will have little effect on performance. Won't hurt anything though.

probable a leaky injector? perhaps a foul gas stress regulator? Get a clean air filter out and perchance new spark plugs, verify that your tires are inflated correct. the first component I do at the same time as i purchase a clean motor vehicle is replace each and every of the fluids and tear it aside somewhat, bypass get that beast tuned!

ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE CHEEP A$$E$ . LISTEN I ONLY RUN THE BEST GAS IN MY CARS. FIRST IF YOU FILL UP YOUR TANK AND YOU SPEND AN EXTRA 12 CENTS PER GALLON FOR 20 GALLONS ITS ONLY $2.40 BIG WHIP. SECOND YOUR GAS BURNS HOTTER SO YOU WILL ACTUALLY GET MORE MILES PER GALLON. THIRD MY CAR RUNS WEIRD IT I USE CHEEP FUEL. IT FEELS SLUGGISH. TRY A FULL TANK OF 93 OCTANE AND SEE IF YOU FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. MY WIFE USE TO ALWAYS BUY CHEEP FUEL FOR HER CAR WHEN WE FIRST STARTED DATING. SHE ASKED ME TO FUEL UP HER CAR FOR HER ONE DAY, SO I DID. 3 DAYS LATER MY WIFE ASKED ME WHAT I DID TO HER CAR. I ASKED WHY. SHE SAID IT WAS REAL PEPPY. SO I KNOW THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. AND NO BETTER FUEL WILL NOT HURT YOUR CAR IN ANYWAY.

no but if your car doesn't need the better gas the only thing that will happen is you will spend more at the pump.
