It will not make it worse if you take a sitz bath. It would actually ease some irritation and give temporary relief. Do not use hot water though as it will expand your blood vessels. Use room temp water and that should work best.
I'm sure everyone has their own little personal remedies and experiences. What works for one person might not work for the other.

Yes!!!! I was prone to yeast infections at one time and I only took baths. It's a myth that you can't take a bath, why not? As long as you are being treated and your taking your suppository every night you will get better. No need to give up your soothing warm baths, just use good old fashion common sense that I'm sure you have. Take your bath first and then put the suppository in before you go to bed, that's simple. Also stress can cause a yeast infection and eating alot of sugar (candy & cakes) as well.
So enjoy your relaxing luxurious baths!

You can, but I wouldn't suggest it. I would shower dry off completely and use pure cornstarch in your underclothes to keep you dry and sleep with no under garments at night to allow fresh air to assist in the healing process. Do you get these frequently? if so, like I did, I found that I was allergic to phosphates and dies. Therefore, always wearing a panty line for dryness and using dove gentle soap when bathing and tide free for my undergarments to keep from getting it back. Good Luck.

They don't recommend it cuz of the moisture that is what causes a yeast infection in the begining, if you need that fresh clean feeling use some baby wipies it will be better than nothing temporarily
