I've read about all the side effects and flu symptoms and I'm curious how bad the side effects are. Should I wait until I can take a few days of work to get the 1st shot?

My 15 1/2 yr. old daughter had the 1st one last month. The area was somewhat sore for a bit, but nothing too bad. There will be a 2nd shot next month. Don't worry about it.
