I mean how Sam got sent home even though he made better dishes the Marcel ? I think it is because of the issues that Ilan and Marcel have.... they just want drama...

Could be. I think Marcel is only there because of the incident with the clippers and his hair. I think they should have kicked all the other contestants out of the game if they kicked out Cliff based on what was done that night and what the rules state is allowable. They were all equally culpable. Since they did not kick the other three out they should not have kicked out Cliff. Instead he should have been kicked out based on cooking. In the semi finales that should have been all behind them but it appeared when Elia ans Elan complained about Marcel's behavior they were ignored as though it had something to do with the hair incident. When the judge said it doen't matter how he behaved in the kitchen if it didn't mess up their food he did not care, that told you they planned to let hi get to the finals.

I was SO mad when they sent Sam home. I got up and yelled a the screen, because, duh Elia was going, she almost never won any challenge, it's a miracle she made it that far, and they were going to keep Marcel because he's the one everyone loves to hate. But I really wanted them to keep Sam, he was always so good! Ilan should have left. I think it's not fake, but they do make elimination decisions based on input from producers and marketing on other Bravo shows, so it's a safe bet that they do that here too.

It's made for TV. I'm sure the producers have some say in who stays and who goes. They had to let Sam go, he resembled last year's winner too much and they couldn't have another unshaven, "I'm not in it for the money, I just want to cook" type of guy win again! I was rooting for Elia myself.
