Can u play your roms ins in safe mode?

because my cpu is old and to many things runs so i was wondering if i can play my roms in safe mode (this will b the 1st time i use safe mode)

Safe mode loads he minimum set of drivers need for the OS to work. So you may have problems. Just try it out and see what happens.
