Depends on the kid, of course, but some good card games a 9-yr old might enjoy are Go Fish, Gin Rummy, Uno, Skip Bo, and Phase 10. Or try crafts. Printed cross stitch, weaving bracelets, or making earrings are fun crafts that are easy enough for a 9 yr old. There are a lot of fun, free, and appropriate computer games online, too. www.imbee.com has a great webiste for kid-friendly webpages if she'd like to create her own blog and photo album for family and friends. Find out what she likes and build on it!
Or maybe enroll her in school? Haha, just kidding!! I'm sure you have your reasons for being bored at home ;-) Good luck!

You can rent movies from blockbuster and watch it. You could also make crafts with paper, glue, and other things you can think of also draw. But you could also read some books too.
