thanks in advance i have two very internet curious preteens and i need to have a little control

Click the Start Menu.
Click on Control Panel.
In Control Panel Select User Acounts.
Select your profile by click the name or picture
There is a link there That is called Create a Password
Click and the rest is right there for you

You didn't mention what operating system you have, so I'll assume you have Windows XP.
Start>Control Panel>User Accounts.
Click an account, and add/change password.

You can go into my computer and set up an administrator and only you can unlock the computer with your password.
