Hmm. Well, I have broken a shoulder, arm, and wrist in the past 5 years, so I might be able to help. If your wrist is still swollen, go to the hospital imediently! You might have broken, cracked, or fractured the wrist. But if it's not still swollen, take some pain reliever, (advil, ibeprofen [sorry for terrible spelling!] etc.) and go to your regular doctor. They will examine your wrist, and it may be sprained, or something similar to that. But either way, you should go to the doctor really soon. And be sure to take pain reliever before you go because when they examine it, they will prolly twist and turn it, so it might hurt a bit.
Hope I Helped, and Good Luck! ;-)

You might want to take some ibuprofin (if over 18, under 18 take something for children just to be safe) to take the swelling down and try an ice pack. You also probably need an x-ray to make sure you have not broken anything. Just because you can move your fingers doesn't mean you haven't broken a small bone.

I'd go see a doctor about this injury. You could have torn something loose in the hand. It happens. You may have really severely strained it but with noise of a pop and crack sounds as if you've broken a bone or joint in the hand. Get it x-rayed asap.

OUCH! Spained or torn tendons. Done that before! I feel for you, it is very painful, and makes life very difficult esp. when it happens to your dominant hand. You need to go see your doc and get an xray of the wrist to be sure of the damage you've done, and you will need a wrist brace until it heals, which can take weeks. Inthe meantime, cold therapy and tylenol to reduce pain and swelling, and for pete's sake, NO volleyball or unnessesary activity involving that hand. If it hurts to do, DONT do it.

I would call your doctor tomorrow and tell him he may want you to get an x-ray.
