The holocaust did actually happen and anyone who said it didn't is a completely out of touch person. The Germans began by making things bad for the Jews. They were denied the right to eat in restaurants, go to public parks, have jobs in government.
Then the Germans began to put up signs "owned by Jews" on business fronts to get regular non-jewish Germans to stop shopping there.
The Germans then started making the jews wear the yellow star of David and then eventually put them into trains used to transport cows and took them to the death camps.
If I were you and wanted to write from a viewpoint of a daughter of a Jew, I might say "we couldn't go to the park today because a German Policeman told us we can't, we're Jews."
Then talk about how Papa (that's what a lot of kids in Germany call their Dads) lost his job working for the government because he is a Jew, what are we going to do, we have no money for food.
Then maybe talk about how some Nazi rough people broke the window of your cousin's shop, or something like that.
The everyday small things that the Germans in the government did were tolerated by the German people. It is really sad how it happened in small steps until they were kiling Jews.
Do some research on everyday life for Jews in nazi Germany I'm sure there's something on the internet, I have a bunch of books about it.
I am trying to figure out how some of the people from my land could do such things. My family left before things went that bad, but it is still terrible and I don't know how to deal with it yet.
I want to be proud to be German, but this was horrible.

Give historical facts. Numbers can impress anyone, too. Look for something that is not commonly known.
Also, you can ask for help http://custom-writing.org/
