There was an article a few years back, I think Scientific American, about people who always need to flip through all the radio stations to see what is on, even if what they are listening to is acceptable. They feel a need to know of all options even is there is an adequate one. Anyone know of this article or other literature about such behavior?

Thanks

HA that sounds like me!!

My family has voted me worsteded channelded changer everded and now im not allowed to use the remote if someone else is in the room.

The only person who thinks this behavior is acceptable is my great grandmum who enjoys watching me change channels because the change of shows distracts her from the "voices in her head" this isnt a joke, my great grand mum suffers from a slight case of schizoprenia.
