I was just wondering.... why do gay men and lesbians get along? Wouldn't they disgust each other because a gay man doesn't find a female attractive, and seeing a female with another female wouldn't that be really gross for him, and vise versa with lesbians?

THAT IS KIND OF A RIDICULOUS QUESTION. I DO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN THOUGH. IT'S JUST LIKE ASKING A WOMAN WHY SHE DOESN'T FIND OTHER WOMEN DISGUSTING IF SHE IS ATTRACTED TO MEN AND VICE VERSA WITH MEN. HOWEVER, SOME STRAIGHT MEN AND WOMEN FIND IT DISGUSTING WHEN THEY SEE SAME SEX COUPLES KISSING OR TOUCHING INTIMATELY. I GUESS THE BEST WAY TO FIND OUT IS TO ASK HOMOSEXUAL MEN AND WOMAN. THEY KNOW BETTER THAT HETEROSEXUAL MEN AND WOMEN

Just because you aren't sexually attracted to someone doesn't mean you find them repulsive! You just don't want to sleep with them.
For a gay man seeing two women together, well, it's just two gals. It's not a turn-on for him, and seeing some public display of affection might make him inwardly grimace, but you know what? For a lot of straight people, seeing a public display of affection in a straight couple is disgusting, too. It just comes down to the whole 'get a room' concept, and has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

When I first came out back in the 1980s, it seemed as if gay men and lesbians could never get along with each other. It seemed to me at the time that lesbians were always, first-and-foremost, feminists who were eager to point out rampant sexism everywhere, including in gay men. They insisted that the gay community be more than just "gays" but "lesbians and gays." I even had one lesbian scold me once because I didn't include the word "lesbian" when I talked about "gays."
Relations seemed to have gotten better, though, by the late 1990s.

I'm a lesbian, and I LOVE gay men. I have all kinds of friends,straight and gay,male and female, but gay men are the best because they're fun, and are not constantly trying to get in my panties,lol!

In what world do you live in where you think that they wouldn't get along? Let ME tell YOU something!: one of my dearest friends is a gay man and I'm a STRAIGHT female and he and I love each other platonically (I DO hope you know what THAT means). Just because they don't want to "get it on" with the opposite sex doesn't mean that they can't be friends! God what century are you from, the stone age? because it's obvious you ARE NOT from the 21st century!!!!!!!!

What in the hell??? I don't look at the world as being composed of gay men, straight men, Lesbians, and straight women. I see the people around me as those I like or those I do not like. Their sexuality is never a factor, ever.

Shouldn't a man be utterly disgusted by straight women in whom he has no romantic interest? Cause, like, they like other MEN. Clearly they could never be friends!
If I'm not watching anyone have sex (which seems rare among ANYONE just hanging out with friends), why should I care? I'm not disgusted by women, they just don't do anything for me.

I don't find anything disgusting about females or the female body...I'm gay...that's who I am sexually attracted to...I can still think a flower is beautiful without wanting to have sex with it

No,All my friends arn't physically attractive. I have the friends that I do have because I like their personality's. I am not disgusted by any kinda gay person.
