Some of the people on here ARE kids. But there is something to be said about the poor education of people in the United States. We are not the smartest nation. And let's not forget about learning disorders. Not everyone who is "less than normal" is not so disturbed that they can't type sentences. But I'm sure that the #1 reason for others' lack of good grammar is that they just don't care and/or are just so confident that they think they're doing fine.

Act or ask? If people act like kids here, it's just a bit of fun. OK, some people have very serious questions and deserve serious answers, but sometimes get a silly reply. I agree with you in a case like that, but the funny questions make me smile/laugh, and that's not a bad thing
