No not a comedy, there's just something about the final hour of it that tickles your funny bone.
Perhaps the producer had a sense of humor and intended to provide comedic relief @ the tradegy

Of course TItanic wasn't a comedy. I don't find anything funny about it i cry every time is watch it.

Ok people it was based on a true story and everytime that that showed jack or rose they added that part.And NO it wasn't supposed to be funny.It is a Dramatic movie.I don't think that any part of it is funny .Personaly if you think then you will actually see that it could happen to anyone if you think about it

I laughed at the people around me and how they cried. It was pathetic. Same goes for the movie.

i agree 100%, but I think it was supposed to be a true event of history that got bent to make it an exciting movie.
