is it possible to be married soon the fact is my bf devorced paper was not properly file yet in court by judge?though he having his orig devorced paper with him already.pls bf and i need a help to know all about this.thank you for stopping by and an effort time for u out there to try helping.

You can get married immediatley after the divorce is FINAL, but the ex can come back on anything 30 days after. In that case your marriage would not be legal. Give it at least 30 days. This is Tennessee law , it could be different in other states. Check with his attorney.

Probably not... They have to refile the divorce papers and start it all over again from scratch i believe.... Tell him to talk with his attorney about this and see what can be done... I know for a fact you cannot marry him til the divorce is final and done with and that there may even be a waiting period of up to 6 months after it is final maybe....

You can not be legally married in the U.S. until HE gets a legal divorce decree.
