I say yes! He's been to the probowl as a Saint and has taken them further than they have ever been in their history to the N.F.C. Championship game! He was also the first Saints' quarterback to lead the league in passing yards in a season. He did this all in one year as a Saint!

While Drew Brees had a sensational year with New Orleans, to proclaim him as the best Saints QB is premature. He needs to have another couple seasons like this and then he could easily contend with Archie Manning, Jim Everett, and Billy Tolliver (mentioned earlier). However, if he does put up similar numbers, then he could easily catapult himself passed the others and make himself the #1 QB in the franchise's history.

Archie Manning, who is Peyton and Eli's father was also an awesome Saints quarterback who was one of the top quarterbacks for years. He just never had a good team. But I agree with you that Drew Brees is the best in the NFL. Can't wait until next year........Superbowl Bound.......I hope.

I do not keep up with football at all. But I did watch the game with the Bears. And I caught myself screaming at the T.V. telling Brees to throw that damn ball. So I really don't know. But the man needed to throw the ball in that game.
