There were various ***** Leagues that were created and disbanded or created, changed and disbanded of the course of the years. Therefore is no one date for the establishment of black baseball.

There is no set date for the creation of black baseball. From its inception, Black people have played baseball, in some form or another, and since the onset of professional baseball there have been black people who have made their living playing the game.

As far as the establishment of Black Baseball as something that stood in contrast to white baseball or the baseball establishment, you could probably put a starting date somewhere in the late 1870's or early 1880's. Basically, this was the time of Cap Anson, a hall-of-fame infielder and manager who was also very much a racist (even, it could be argued, more of a racist then his peers at the time despite the fact that the late 1800's weren't a very prosperous time for African-Americans). Anson more than any other single figure in baseball led the charge to ban blacks from the Major Leagues, a feat which was accomplished through the shadowy "gentlemen's agreement" between the owners that informally but resolutely barred black players from the professional game until 1947. There was never a formal declaration barring African-Americans, but rather a principle understanding between the owners not to hire black players.

Thus, black peoiple in America who wanted to play baseball were forced to create their own leagues. The first of these leagues to be formalized was the "National Colored Base Ball League" which formed and was dibanded in 1887.

As far as the NML, it could refer to the idea of the ***** Major League, although there was never formally such an organization. There was a ***** National League and ***** American League, and these two leagues did face off against each other in the ***** Leagues World Series. The NNL was officially founded around 1920, although the NAL wasn't founded until 1933 and it wasn't until the 1930's that these leagues truly flourished.

I'm not sure what the NML is or was. A number of different ***** leagues existed in the late 1800s and early 1900s, but the first one that had any staying power was the first ***** National League, which was founded in 1920 and existed until 1931. I suggest the books "Only the Ball Was White" as a good source on pre-integration ***** baseball.

It should never have been. They should all be integrated.
