President Coolidge felt that government relations with business:

b - would provide prosperity to all if the government did not interfere with business.
c - should keep trade organizations from forming to prevent price fixing.
d - should be based on stringent regulation of heavy manufacturing .

Coolidge was known to be a man of few words. One lady spoke to him and said she was sure she could make him say more than two words. His answer: YOU LOSE.
