Either an event together or a gift.....it is more thought out. It's too easy to just give somebody a couple of dollars or a gift certificate.

I think it depends on who's giving the gift. If it's someone I know really well, I'd say a gift or an event together. If it's someone who doesn't know me very well, I'd say cash or a gift certificate.

Is this for Valentines day??? If so, then an event together. However, gift certificates are the best. Try to get the credit card type they can use anywhere.
