This is my final CBB question as I'm sure we're all heartily sick of the damn show by now.
I like Shilpa. I think she reacted to some horrible provocation with grace and dignity, showing herself to be a far better person than her protagonists.
Shilpa played the game very well indeed. I think, though, that she may not have scored so highly had the media not gone into its ridiculous overdrive.
I'm NOT saying that she didn't deserve her win tonight. Good for her!

Piranha - well, you must be blind then, because this site has been FULL of BB questions for the last 3 weeks. I'm not overly enamoured with the program myself, but I am interested in hearing people's opinions on what has happened. Get an life yourself, and what's more, if you don't like the question, why bother answering it?

Just in case there is anybody out there who thinks that Shilpa is only getting sympathy votes I just want you to know that I am living proof that this is not the case. Could not stand her at first, thought she was stuck up, even through the horrible bullying I was still unsure. Since Jade left though I have liked her more and more every day. She has been dignified when most people who have totally lost it and since Jade's departure has shown everybody what we were missing. She is fun, has a great sense of humour, is gorgeous and slim(looks great in the VB Jeans - not fair) and has shown a kindness to those who don't really deserve it. Never thought I would be on this thread in that first week but I am glad I held out on my judgement of her and I am now a convert!

I liked Shilpa (alot) until the incident when Cleo went massively OTT with Dirk. Dirk and Shilpa had built up a friendship and he could get away with some flirty teasing of her.... and knew where the line was...
Cleo hadn't noticed the gradual build up of this and went all out in some draggy obnoxious brashy character.. full of wanton despair... which Dirk had always moved away from.. as it made him feel bad in himself..... and cornered Dirk in the house.. then pursued him... invading his personal space.
Shilpa proved to be quite the gameplayer.. and her take was that the public would back Cleo over Dirk... and so she cooled on him massively then almost ostracised him. She's charming, elegent, very intelligent.. but a ruthless ambitious perfectionist as well.

I Totally Agree!
Shilpa is a Lady i wish some of us women in Britain could learn from her!! she was treated disgracfully and i personally think that is the best way to handle three pieces of dirt Jo, Jade and Danielle!!!!

One other thing that sticks out to me is that Shilpa is the only housemate who actually stuck up for somebody else when things started to get out of hand.
I'm thinking of the time when Dirk was the 'target' and she stuck up for him twice.
Once she took Cleo aside and asked her to stop.
Then the second time she persuaded Jermaine to have a word with them.
It's doubtful that Jermaine would have said anything if it wasn't for Shilpa.

She earned her win. The people voted so it was up to the viewers. I wanted Dirk to win but I knew he wouldn't. Did think Jermaine was walk out the winner though.

you're not gonna win that show solely on the backing of people feeling sorry for you. the viewers didn't feel sorry enough to turn off the show anyway judging from the ratings.
