u can get periods frm the age of 9-16. but the averages are 12 and 13. so dont worry at all!! ask when your mom started and u will get it around hers.ur periods will probably come 2-3 years after your breats, soon after u get discharge, and after u get pubic hair. so your on your way. and let me be the first to tell u that periods are a pain!!! so be happy with out them!!!

first of all, you may want to fit in, but when you do get your period, you might not feel that way anymore.. cramps can be really uncomfortable and it can get really annoying sometimes.. don't worry about it if you haven't started yet... some girls get their first period when they're 10, others when their 16. i got mine when i was 13 but my sister's almost 15 and hasnt gotten hers yet. it really just depends on how quickly your body is developing. If your breasts have started to develop, then i would be expect it anytime in the next year... if they havent started to develop, then who knows.. you could still get your period any time... i have a friend who got her period when she was 11, and she was flat-chested until she was about 15 or so... basically, everyone's different, so when it comes, it comes... dont worry about it.

Don't rush it, you have many many years to deal with it once it does start.
Everybody is different, it can start anywhere from the approximate age of 10-16.

You are fine. I did not get my first period until I was 16. Also, enjoy not having your period while you can. It is not always pleasant when a woman has one. Sometimes women get Cramps and headaches and nausea with them. Also, sometimes they get hot flashes and get moody because it messes with the hormones.

Why on earth would you want to start your period? I'll bet all your friends are jealous of you.
At their best, periods are messy and inconvenient.

dont worry, my friends started at age 12 and som at age 10, i started at 15...u cant control it, but it will happened......lemme tell u though, dont wish for it....it changes ur life, and ur freedom closes in on u... :(
