This is interesting, my mom told me everyone hates being a teenager even though they look happy, I never did beleive her.

I hated high school, i didn't have any friends I just sat around watching other kids and listening to their conversations and memorizing their party stories, it still bugs me, like i missed something really important

Not really.

I was an outsider in my neighborhood because we went to private school.

Also I wasn't easy to live with.

Thankfully I got through it and now I'm a very nice person.

Um it's okay. I HATE the exams at the end of each semester it only stresses us out. (But i don't stress easy) The high school teachers are BORING AS HELL. One of my teachers Mr. Robins has a voice that is almost monotone. I HATE having hearing loss, It makes me ULTRA shy and feels TERRIBLE and AKWARD giving the FM to the teacher for the first time it's just embarassing. It also makes it harder to understand people in a noisy place (especsially high pitched girls). Now that you think about it sometimes i like being a teen and sometimes i just flat out (and i mean flat out) hate it. Oh well at least i have Metallica. HIGH SCHOOL is feeling too akward right now and i'm not really enjoying it with my hearing loss. (No i'm not emo). Bottom line, my teen years are ok so far (14 years).

For the most part I like being a teenager, but what I don't like is that nobody takes you seriously. Just because a lot of teenagers act like they're still in elementary school doesn't mean I do. People who are older than me think I can't be mature or have opinions about real issues just because I'm young. Other than that I like being a teenager.

NO! NO! NO!

Did I give the impression I didn't particulary enjoy it?

Being a teenager meant I was still too young to do the things I really wanted to do, because I was raised by very old-fashioned controlling parents who even scanned G-rated movies to see if we'd be allowed to watch them. It was automatically assumed that I knew nothing. I was not allowed my own opinions. About the only good thing I can say about being a teenager is that I was a lot younger and healthier then.

I miss being a teenager... I had a job and my only bills were car insurance and gas... I hated high school though, i'm not gonna lie I avoided it as much as I could get away with.

I'm 18 so technically I'm still a teen, but when I was in high school (c/o 06) I hated all the drama that girls would start over every little thing. Now that I look back at it it's all pointless and silly. I hope they feel dumb.

I loved the heck out of being a teen. It was simpler times, there was no WORK, and everything was paid for by my parents. Well, thats how I remember it anyway.

I liked the culture around me, roller skates, the music, and my close friends. Dislike was the trauma, but that's another story and this isn't the place for it.

No way. But I would definitely love to go back knowing what I know now. SOOOOO many things I would change and/or do differently. One thing I would do differently is go to college right after school. I was so tired of school after the 12th grade, I waited to go back to school now as an adult. It 's taking me almost 10 years to get my associates degree.
