Wait! I know it's hard but you don't want to take the big risk of it getting infected and gross. Just wait! it will be worth it in the long run!

number one the belly button is like the not smartest place to get pierced because almost everyones gets infected even if you take great care of it my aunt who is a nurse got hers pierced and it got infected and so did my sisters but youve already gone through with it so i suggest waiting because you may infect it or it may close better safe then sorry!

Do what the professionals said. It doesn't matter if you don't want to wait, you have to. I have my belly pierced and you have to wait 6 weeks before one can change it!.

One of my moms' friends works at a hospital, and this one girl got her belly button pierced. She took it out too early and it got infected...it traveled up to her head and now she is paralyzed from the neck down. Does that answer your question?

I didn't wait and I have massive scaring now that I have taken it out. Not sure if it is related, but I wouldn't be overly suprised (none of my other piercings scared like this one).

Wait the 2 months. They tell you that number for a specific reason.

if you change the ring then it will probably, almost definitely get infected and then you will have to wait for it to heal until you can re-pierce it. and all that would take longer than a month for sure, just wait it out, it will probably be worth it!

Do not change it. They told me not to change mine for 4 months. I tried to change it early and immediately when I took it out, the hole started to close. I shoved it back in, which took like 5 min and I cried so hard. Needless to say it hurt extremely bad and it got infected and I had to go on strong antibiotics for 2 weeks..It has a huge scar and I regret it. So don't do it.

If you recommend to wait a month and a month already passed by. You can change it but before. Read the instruction first.

Good luck

I'd listen to the people where you got it pierced, they know better what they are talking about. I'd also be aware of possible allergies to the different kinds of ring that can go in there.
