I was looking for something you could use/do at home. I know cucumbers are good for that but I do not have any at the time and wondered if anyone had any other suggestions.

I think theyre just puffy because you dont get enough sleep but cucumbers can also work. Just make sure the cucumbers are fresh because once my mom used old ones (god knows why) and her eyes were like pinkish red for a whole week.

Cucumbers are the best way. But use roll on lipgloss around your eyes, then continually rub your middle finger under your eyes and wear a sleep mask and lie down for a few minutes before bed.

i SWEAR by the steeped tea bag over the eyes! don't steep it for long, just put it in the hot water for like a minute, long enough to soak it and get it warm. then put it over your eyes for like 10-20 minutes and it REALLY reduces puffiness. i know because i once got sunburn so badly on my face that my eyes were swollen nearly SHUT when i woke up the next day. i could barely see! my grandmother had me do the teabag thing and the swelling went WAY down. in my case obviously it didn't go all the way away, but if you just have normal puffiness, im sure it will go away completely. at the time i was school aged and mine went away enough that i wasnt embarassed to go to school that same day!

Use pieces of white bread dipped in cold milk. Apply them to each eye and lay back for a while - maybe 10 minutes. That should help.

Maybe just try holding a cool wet washcloth over your eyes. That is what I do!
