Servers
Front-line. Who has more contact with our customers than our servers? You are the hospitality ambassadors making sure that Great Service is delivered... Everytime! Suggesting great tasting food comes easy with a thorough knowledge of our menu. Your excellent people skills will put you at ease to interact with customers and help coworkers. Side work, cleaning and light lifting are required. Front-line, yes. To our customers, You Are Denny's.
Host/Hostess
First impression and last impression. You play a special role for Denny's customers. Your warm, friendly greeting that welcomes each customer into our restaurant sets the stage for a positive dining experience. Your ability to engage in friendly conversation with the guest is key as you perform duties such as seating, offering menu suggestions, helping with beverages and light cleaning duties in the dining room. As the cashier, you are the final quality control of the guests experience before they leave the restaurant. Their return often is determined by your sincere handling of their departure.
Cook
You are the maestro in the kitchen orchestrating food orders to come together timely, efficiently and in an eye pleasing way. You are adept at driving the tempo that keeps the kitchen up with the flow of business. Your knowledge and application of food safety principles is critical for the continued success of your restaurant. You take pride in following set recipes, cooking food to order and presenting a great looking plate while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. You must be able to communicate with other employees and willingly honor the special requests our customers make. Great Food comes from you.
Service Assistant
You are the true life line for keeping a restaurant running smoothly. Customers' tell us that a clean restaurant, free of bad odors is the number one factor determining their return. Servers can't serve without the supplies you stock and restock for them. Cooks can't plate or serve food without the clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans you maintain and stock for them. From keeping a clean, eye-appealing parking lot to maintaining sparkling rest rooms to operating the dish machine, in many ways, you affect our customers impression of Denny's. Assisting others makes you one of the truly Great People at Denny's.
