The White Man never forbid us from assimilating. In fact they tried to make us white. Haven't you ever heard or read about "Indian Schools"? The Government took the children away from there families and put them into "Schools" which were basically prisons. The poor kids had their hair cut short, they were put into uniforms and they were beaten if they spoke their native language. They were sent to these "schools" not for an education but to have the "savage" taken out of them by any means possible and to be made "white".

none.

Genocide means an organized systematic policy of killing.
Not resettling
not pushing people into other areas
not putting them on reservations.

just killing them.

See: Nazis and Jews/Gypsy's, Turks/Armenians, Tutsi/Hutu and on and on throughout history

if the policy of Americans and American governments form 1753 onward had been genocide, there wouldn't be a Native American left on the continent.
