Disagree. I listen to rock music, have since I was about 6 and I've never gone and killed anyone. I've never shot up a liquor store or cussed out a policeman. Some people are just stupid and are influenced by anything but in those situations the parents are the ones that should be regulating what they see and listen to. Since most parents don't do their job, they blame it on the first thing they think of. Unfortunately, that usually happens to be music or video games.

Disagree. This reminds me of a statement I once read......."There is comedy on television. Does that mean there is comedy in the streets?" Or, it was something to that nature (substituting comedy for violence....making fun of that whole deal). Music, television, books or whatever else does not make someone go out and murder the person sitting on the bus next to them....it is deeper than that.

lt depend how well the youth have been brought up, I do see some of the youth invovle in rock music but they are still very humble and well behaviour

I somewhat agree. Rock music is one of my favorite genres of music and it hasn't affected me negatively, but some kids are negatively influenced by the behavior of the "rockstars", and do stupid things like drugs.

agree, once they get into that rock culture they will start listening to hard rock then metal or whatever then they will become Gothics. that means they will start taking prescription drugs and illegal drugs and think about suicide.
