It's just because of where the wrinkles in your sheets or blankets are pressed up against your skin in one place for a long time... it mainly only happens to people who dont move around in their sleep alot. there's not really any way to keep this from happening, but if they stay there for a long time and you're self conscious about it, try getting up a little earlier and giving them more time to fade.. also, if you shower the night before, try showering in the morning instead.

Perhaps you are a heavy sleeper who does not roll around much, thus any wrinkles in the sheets or your bed clothes have plenty of time to make an indentation in your skin. Maybe a tighter fitted sheet would help.

This could be a fun thing for you. Try sleeping on your belly and place cut outs of various shapes on the sheet. When you wake up you'll have cool designs on your skin. Ha.

You probably tend to not move much in your sleep. It's similar to how if you pinch your skin for a few seconds it leaves a mark. The longer you lean on the wrinkled sheets, the longer the marks will stay on your body. Generally if you take a shower after you wake up, the marks will be gone by the time you leave the house. It's not something worth worrying about.

drink more water; you're dehydrated! You should be drinking about 32 ounces in the morning, and another 32 ounces mid afternoon. After about a week or so of this, you'll notice that they're way reduced, or stop. And, soda, coffee, etc. doesn't count. WATER!

Sounds as if your body is retaining water. You should see a doctor about this as it could be a sign that your body is not expelling the water properly.
