Set up a goal in the backyard where you just have small openings where a ball or puck could just barely fit and fire away! Keep shooting, further and further away till your an expert. This should help your shooting accuracy. Change the openings around. Try using a ball against a hard surface, shoot it hard from 10 to 20 feet away, and when it bounces back, stop it before it goes by, gain control of it immediately and shoot again. Try to do this faster and faster. If you can handle a tennis ball bouncing fast back at you, a puck should be easier. It will help you with hand, eye coordination. And don't give up, practice all the time, any spare time you have, I use to practice and play for hours at a time by myself. If you love the game, and love playing, then practice will be fun. Challenge yourself to be better. Hope this helps, good luck.

wow there is a list

first off to become good you want to focus on your body and toning it. Avoid running. Its bad on the knees and back, two parts of your body that can easily deteriorate and are hard to heal. Try work on stationary bikes. Do tons of squats. If you have weights, use them. To improve your shot strength, you want strong arms. Do weight excercises that will strengthen the arm and wrist.

Get a smart ball. They are amazing. Will help your stick handling improve greatly. If you don't want to spend the money on one, use a golf ball. It will help you focus because it is small and bouncy.

If you can get a practice net that is regulation size. You'll want to warm up with wrist shots. Try and focus and put them in the specific holes (1, 2 ,3 4, 5, 6,7 ,8). Take shots from many angles to improve accuracy. Then work on slap shots. Focus on getting them on net once you get the speed and power down.
