Usually I just let him eat what he wants out of it FIRST, and then I'll sweep up the rest.

I use a dustpan. It's the only way to get it up. Poor dog.

I sweep it up & have the kids get it up if I dont have them to sweep to begin with LOL If its just dirt I sweep it out the door.

I vacuum, but if i did sweep i'd put it in the dustpan.
Sweeping it towards the dog is just lazy.

I have to sweep my floors alot because one of my horses has decided he likes to come inside to visit me and watch me on the computer. Have you ever seen the dirt a horse can bring in? Glad I don't have carpet.
