how do you put music on a flash drive?

You can just copy & paste a file (music or data) onto it for storage or transfer.

You cannot play it standalone from a flash drive unless it is a MP3 player as well.

This is very easy to do. Just go to my computer and open up the flash drive. Open up the folder where your Mp3/wma files are and just drag them onto the flash drive.
