Communism is an ideal government, one where everyone shares their wealth and is happy. However, it realistically will never happen. In order for communism to work, people must be willing to work hard, but receive only what they need (the doctor with the MD and the designated town pooper-scooper make the same amount of money) and government officials must all be saints.
In captalism, money is technically harder to make (you're not guaranteed any amount) but the money you do make is generally more than that of people under communist governments. Personally, I'd prefer being allowed to make as money as I want, or at least, as I can, wouldn't you? lol I hope I'm making some sort of sense;)
If you read Animal Farm, by George Orwell, it talks about a farm slowly turned communist by evil pigs. Seriously. Pigs. But its a pretty interesting read.
And I think the french word mirramai was referring to is "Laissez-Faire", but I don't know for certain. Laissez-Faire means "never mind" or "don't bother" and is used to describe the mindset of "let big businesses do as they please."

Well there's a loaded question.
Which communism are you refering to? The original idea of communism that Karl Marx wrote about, or the Stalin's interpretation? Remember, that the majority of people (at least in the USA) think of the Cold War and the Red Scare of the 1950s when they think of Communism. Oh, and the Arms Race comes to mind as well. To get an honest answer you may wish to define Communism a little better, or were you looking for just a general reaction to both words?
Further if you're going to discuss capitalism and communism, shouldn't you also consider socialism...as it tends to be considered to be slightly more middle of the road than the others. Just a thought.
Another question, do you mean regulated capitalism or no-holds-barred-anything-goes capitalism? (There's a French term for that and I can't even begin to remember how to spell it, but if you're studying capitalism I'd hope you are familiar with it.)
I couldn't personally judge one way or the other. In any system there will be positives and negatives, although the majority of people like to believe their system is the best. So, I guess in a round about way my answer is neither.

searching at heritage, capitalism has outlasted communism by technique of a lengthy shot. there is not any "ideal" economy, yet capitalism provides human beings the most quantity of freedom, facilitates them to be rewarded for attempt and lets human beings make astounding thoughts.

Capitalism: Productive, innovative, creates vast wealth gap.
Communism: Centralized, bureaucratized, no huge wealth disparities.
It depends on whether you want a fast system that'll leave you and most everyone else biting the dust, or if you want a slow system that'll leave everyone in the similar state.

Capatalism has its advantages, and Communism has very little nevertheless I say neither. I prefer a monarchy, where you can work your way up, but it isnt as controvercial as Capatalism, or as much as a failure as Communism. but thats my personal opinion.
