I want to buy the sudoku game and I'm not sure if it's fifth generation or not.

Luigi is right,

"iPod games work with fifth-generation iPod only. iPod games are not compatible with iPod nano"

in the small print at the lower right corner of the webpage. Therefore, iPod nano is not fifth-generation.

Where did you find an iPod Sudoku? It appears that it use to be offered, but isn't anymore. It isn't anywhere on the Apple website. They do still have a Sudoku for Dashboard but not for iPod. Maybe the situation will change again tomorrow?

that is a jack of all trades and draw close of none. The video digicam does no longer take stills and could no longer do till the subsequent technology probable. The music high quality is worse that another, extra effective and in addition priced MP3s. i might want to nonetheless get it although, because i appreciate ipods :). I actually have a third gen nano, and that's surprising.

No, you can only download games on the Apple Ipod Video 5th gen. or higher. You can NOT download games onto any nano.
