Do animals try to be (or are they naturally) practical and efficient? Are animals better at having fun than people? Are they neat and tidy or can they appreciate a mess? Are there any animals that are perfectionists?

Animals as pets value a good responsible owner.

Wild animals value their habitat and territory, and food.

Simple as that. Animals are ANIMALS not PEOPLE. When's the last time you've seen a fish come up out of the water and tell someone not to throw their garbage in? C'mon.

The "guilty" look on a dogs face is only because it remembers that it gets yelled at for messing on the floor or chewing up shoes. These are LEARNED BEHAVIORS NOT INNATE.

animals value friendship and exhibit unconditional love. many are better at having fun than humans because they do just that at play -- have fun -- without any outside influences. as for morals, when some are brought into our value system, they know if they have done something wrong, and feel ashamed (dogs especially when they spill something or make a mess and get caught) bowing their head and approaching with head down in a supplicant fashion.

God gave them a variety of instincts. There's so many cool ones out there. They're all a reflection of how BIG He really is.
