My stepmom was asleep one night and she was dreaming of a far away place,but at the same time could see her bedroom and herself sleeping in the bed.She felt paralyzed for a moment,then jerked awake! what do you think? seriously!

One time I had an allergic reaction to medicine, by the time they got me to the doctor I was feeling really strange, like I really wasn't the person suffering anymore. I couldn't figure out who the woman was who kept wheezing and moaning. It was me, I realized after they gave me a shot to stop the reaction. At the time it was going on, I felt detached from my body, like I was a spectator. The doctor told me later that I could have died. It was very strange, but not fearful.

I just read some information on this. There have been some new research that actually answers this question. They used MRI and CAT scans to determine that there are chemicals in the brain that cause someone to have the feeling they are suspended from above and viewing their own body. They can reproduce this experience in research subjects by stimulating a particular area of the brain. Dont ask me how they did it but from what I read the conclusion is there is no real out of body experience.

It sounds like she did travel.
Being paralyzed is one condition that happens.

its 0ok! i had a dream that in which i knew i was dreaming so i did w.e i felt like knowing it waz a dream so nuthin would happen!!!
