Yes, but it's spelled "banned" not "band". A player should only be banned when he tests positive or there is solid proof of him taking steroids in the past. Most people, including me, believe that Bonds took steroids or HGH, but so far they can't prove it, which is why he is still playing. As for Tejada, there is some speculation that he has taken some, but he has not tested postive. Pettitte's name came up because of the fitness program that he does along with Roger Clemens, and even the FBI, who grilled Jason Grimsley, said there was nothing to that. Yes, it would be good to ban players, but have to have solid evidence of them actually taking performance enhancing drugs before doing that.

Yes.
But remember... steroids don't improve your hand-eye coordination (ie, your ability to hit the ball or your ability to hit the catchers mitt). It just helps you launch the ball into orbit or throw harder.
A player may take steroids, but he must still have great skill to put the bat onto the ball against a major league pitcher throwing 80-100mph and to do it in such a way as to make it head in the general direction of the outfield wall and at the trajectory needed to clear it.
No simple feat.

Baseball players that use steroids should face banishment from the game and the hall of fame. Barry Bonds should face that plus jail time.

Yes, if someone gets caught and only gets two weeks away from the sport, it tells other players that it may be ok. Thta makes everything even worse. Give them a lifetime ban so they get the point and stop.

Yes, its cheating and this bullshit about "if your not cheating your not trying, and it's only cheating if you get caught" is wrong and ignorant. People today actually buy into this crap. If a player tests positive for steroids he should get one warning with a huge fine and suspension and the next positive test he should be banned!

I think all of those guys you mentioned should be banned.I think they took steroids and if they do find evidence of them using steroids they should be permenantly banned. But the players who are apologetic and sencere should be banned for a year.I believe certain players should get a second chance.

Yes. The 50 game suspension just isn't good enough. They should be banned for life.
