John Lennon.
First of all, he was just the coolest out of the bunch. He also had the best career outside of the beatles. His song Imagine is a classic.

They are all super in their own right, but I think John Lennon is my favorite. He had a brilliance that the other three didn't. You could see it in his songwriting, and song style. You could always tell which Beatles' songs were the work of Lennon just by listening to it once. Even after the Beatles busted up John Lennon's solo pieces were genius. They were deep with much meaning.

Aww, what about Ringo?? He's my fave! The name is enough, Ringo Starr. How cool! I also like that he is a drummer (I have a thing for them) and he seems pretty neat. The comes John, then George, then poor little Paul. Not that I don't like Paul, I like them all, just not as much as the others.

They all lent their talents to become the best band on the planet, but for sure, John Lennon was more of a true "musician" than the rest and I think he really used his music to try and get a real message across and not just to make money. His songs "Mother" and "Working Class Hero" were right from the gut. Very few musicians put their lives out their like he did.

Even though I know his musical talent could be considered somewhat less than the other three, I always loved Ringo. He just seemed happy and friendly and didn't take himself too seriously. (I think that's what people who DIDN'T like him didn't like! They thought he wasn't serious enough) Don't get me wrong....thank God for Lennon and McCartney. There has never been a songwriting team who, for my money, has been any better. Their songs were the soundtrack of my youth, and still give me goosebumps in many cases. But just for sheer likeability, Ringo takes the prize. (Although Paul is pretty darned likeable too....unless you're Heather Mills I guess !)

I would say George. He was the quiet one. John and paul only let George and Ringo use a handful of their own songs to record, but George really had so much to offer. When the Beattles split, this was his chance to spread his wings and fly. And he soared pretty well.

I was thirteen years old when the Beatles exploded in America. And from the beginning John Lennon was my favorite because of his wit, intelligence, singing, and writing. He had such a special gift. It seems that only the good die young.

John Lennon
He was for peace. I am for peace. Everyone should be for peace.
Not that the other three weren't for peace. Lennon was just more vocal about it.
