That's a good thing that he didn't find sperm in his urine. The only way it would be an okay thing would be if he had just gotten off before he took a pee test. It means he's normal and probably has sperm. If he wants to get tested to see if he has sperm he needs a different kind of test.

There should not be any sperm in his urine anyways. Sperm comes out separately from urine.

There shouldn't be any sperm in the urine, at least not normally.
Unless he urinated right after he ejaculated - but there still would be hardly any.
