Do shop for a medical school now, because you want to know where the students they're accepting are graduating from and go there. As at least one person has already told you, the best pre-med program will not be at the same institution as the med school. Med schools will tell you where their students did their pre-med studies and its highly likely that you'll see a pattern in where their students came from, so develop a short list of good med schools and let that determine where you go.

That said, the University of Washington has a good med school.

Don't worry about medical school just yet. You have 4 years of undergrad to think of first, and you won't do them in the same place you'll go to medical school. First find a university with a strong pre-med program and a good record for getting undergrads into medical school
