finance classes within a business college of a university are best for learning concepts of stock markets. You'll have to take the Series 6 and series 7 licences which are pretty easy and you don't need a degree to take them.

Economics, finance and administation would be a good beginning. Political science wouldn't be a bad choice either, as global, national and local politics can play a big role in how the stock market fluctuates.

You would major in finance, taking lots or portfolio analysis/management classes. You will also have and want to take other general business classes, take some basic accounting and economics too.
