How many of you younger women do not actually know you bra size?

Is this because you are to embarassed to get measured? My girlfriend is, and she is 21 now. Is this normal?

The percentage of woman wearing the wrong bra is actually very high. Most try to squeeze into a smaller size and wont have it when you tell them they need a bigger one. You should get measured once a year.

Its not just younger women who wear the wrong size, many women wear a bre thats too big around there back and too small in the cups. If you are too shy to get measured properly you can get advice on how to measure yourself. Though, personally, I believe you should get measured regularly, your shape changes as you grow older, put on or lose weight, get fit etc. Get measured, you'll be so pleased you did when you get the right size, so much more comfortable!!

i only come to know mine in few months back.
i think it's been embarrassed or some time the customer service to take the measurement is not there at the desk so you end up picking any one that feel o.k to you.
let her follow this simple steps.

to determine your body size: measure around the rib cage, directly under the bust, while wearing a bra.to that number you get,add 5" ,that is your body size.

to determine your cup size: measure the fullest part of your bust.
if that number is 1" more than your body size,you require an A cup.
if the number is 2" more than your body size, you need a B cup.
if the number is 3" more you require a C cup,so no.

note: if your body size is an odd number, round the number up to the next highest number.
she need to get a measuring tape.

This is very normal, a lot of women are too shy to ask for help. Many women dont no the correct way to fit a bra. Bravissimo is an excellent company who can help. If shes too shy she could try going with a friend to make her feel more comfatable.

if you asked 10 people you would find probably all of them are in the wrong size bra,
i took my daughter to marks and Spencer's they are quite good for having your bust measured and have a good selection of bras too
nothing worse than having a bra that doesn't fit

Take her to marks and Spencer they are very good.
They will measure you then you can choose the right bra/ size.
Forget embarassment and wear the right bra size.

Umm i saw this thing on Oprah that was saying how so many women are wearing the wrong size but its not that bad to get measured. It helps you out a lot

its a bit embarassing, but you dont have to take your top off! tell her to wear a tight fitting vest top or something similar! i got mine done in Marks and Spencers and the woman was like a right stuck up old boot! nevermind! once measured got pointed in the direction of some hot bras!

You always wear a bra when you are measured. Tell your girlfriend that. It is normal to be embarrassed. But once she has done it once and realises that she doesn't have to strip off altogether she will be fine

my wife was always complaining of her bra digging into her and her boobs spilling over her bra but she insisted that she was wearing the right size of bra, being a 36dd however after dragging her to get measured at marks and spencer and la zenza she found out that she is a 36 e...... maybe pregnancy has alot to do with this but she is a hell of alot comfier now she in right size and has given me the great pleasure of spoiling her with new lingerie
