Us women , even ones who use tampons, take them out before we shower..
it is best to shower like you would any other time of the year and get your "private areas" washed really good to cut down on bacteria and odor..

Dont worry about a little blood in the shower ( or even alot in the shower ) ..

It washes down the drain and is perfectly acceptable..if there is a problem, just clean out the shower after you are finished and dressed...

Personally, I dont take a bath during this time of the month, but I shower at least twice a day, especially when I choose to use pads...

Just like normal. It will seem really disgusting at first, but the water will just wash it away. I suggest if it is REALLY heavy to try a tampon sometime. You may have less of a chance of bleeding through your pad, and it makes it easier/more comfortable to move around.

It may get on your towel a little bit. What I do is I either put a tampon in before a shower or right after a shower so it doesnt drip down my leg or something.

First calm down.Second you can shower and wash your hair without a tampon! Do you think you need to see the doctor because it is unusually heavy? Or you are simply not used to bleeding? After your shower, take toilet paper there to prevent you from getting blood on towel. Then, put a pad in your undies.Breathe! Nothing to worry about!

When you first begin it can be heavy. My daughter's is too!

And no- do not use tampons until you feel comfortable inserting them. I was about 17 before I started on them and it is actually better to let it out as tampons need to be changed so regularly to avoid toxic shock.

Showering during your period need not be a problem. Just do it. In fact it is crucial you keep clean and to give your tum relief with the warm water. You may prefer to not do gym and shower in a group situation of course. Most gym teachers understand this and would excuse you in this instance.

:-)

Welcome to the world of womanhood!

Take a shower like normal. As the other answerers have said, it will stop in water.

When you get out of the shower and towel off, just put a tampon or pad on right away. You shouldn't get any blood on your towel. If you do, throw the towel in the laundry.

Just get in and wash. Don't worry about the blood. It's a shower, it's for cleaning up.

You usually don't drip blood in the shower. Just wash like regular, if you get some on your rag or sponge rinse it off and throw it in the Washing machine.

You need to take a shower to keep yourself clean. No tampons in the shower.
