Not a good idea. Some molds may be toxic. I guess you could call a cleaner and see but I don't hear of that ever really happening.. Maybe you could get it reupholstered if it is a valuable piece or antique.

If mold on wood, it can be cleaned and salvaged sometimes...but better to get rid of it. Mold on upolostry and padding is harder, needed reupholstering usually .
Some mold, Stachybotrys, is cancer causing, so be safe.
Stachybotrys chartarum (obsolete: Stachybotrys alternans and Stachybotrys atra) is a greenish-black mold that is commonly found outdoors and sometimes found in damp or flooded homes. It was originally described from the wall of a house in Prague in 1837 by Czech mycologist August Carl Joseph Corda. It requires constant moisture in order to grow.
Health problems related to this mold have been documented in humans and animals since the 1930s (and it is even considered a likely candidate for the Biblical condition mistranslated as "leprosy", tzaraath). More recently, S. chartarum has been linked with so-called sick building syndrome. However, the link has not been firmly established in the scientific literature.

If it's still usable, I guess you can, but why would you want to? The mold spores can trigger athsma. Besides that, it's gross! Maybe you could remove the mold somehow, and see if the furniture is salvageable.

I'm not sure if you can, but try a steam-cleaning method. you can buy a steamer, or someone can come to your home and do it for you. after steaming the furniture, spray it with an anti-mold disinfectant spray.
Good luck!
