Im dating a closet case whom I happen to work with. Everytime I turn around I find people asking me if he is gay and I have to say no and then come up with some excuse on why they see us together. I'm not in the closet and dont want to hide who I am or our relationship. So Im thinking about just ending the relationship so I dont have to deal with his immature bullcrap. (I'm 20 and he is 42 and everyone knows he is gay, he just needs to admit it).

people ... im not going to out him, thats his business and he has to make that decision. And also, to the woman who made the comment that it could effect his career, no it couldnt, everyone knows and is cool about it. And it is affecting our relationship when he hooks up with women to try to hide it. I don't think he knows what he wants.

He's probably not wearing his gayness on his sleeve because he wants to be "professional".
Having a relationship with someone you work with is a really pressing thing....and some people don't want it 'out there'.
You should respect his feelings.....it is a place of business.
If you can't handle that, then yes, end the relationship.
Your 'date' is much more mature than you .....in more ways than just age.
Did you ever happen to think he might be protecting his career?
Or is it all about you?

When people ask you if he's gay reply, "Why ask me...why not ask him. Here let me call him over so you can ask him." Then watch them make themselves scarce.

Dating a closet case if one thing, but dating a coworker is another. The former can be difficult while the latter is injudicious.

you need to give him time. do not go up to him and tell him to come out of the closet or you'll leave him. you need to respect his wishes and keep quiet about his sexuality. he might come out of the closet or he might not. that's is his decision and if you can't live with that then you need to move on.

well if he's 42 he's certainly old enough to come out of the closet. I don't know what to tell you to do.

Just tell him that it isn't working between you and him and tell him the reason why. Do not out him though because it's no one business but his unless he chooses to do this for himself. It is up to him to free himself.
