So, i hav ebeen seeing my boyfriend for about 8 months. he is 6 years older than i am... The person i lost my virginity to was just over 10 years older than i am. im worried that if i keep it a secret, im not trusting him completely, but if i do tell him im afraid of what he will think that the only other sexual partner iv ever had was that much older than me... What do i do? should i tell him?

Hi, i think you should tell him. But only if it ever comes up as a topic. I know with my boyfriend and i, we usually try not to talk about those things, bad feelings like jealousy usually come up. So if it comes up, then tell him, don't lie about it. ANd if you do tell him, and he judges you for any reason (which i can't imagine he would) then he is not right for you.
And don't worry about the age difference, my boyfriend is also 6 years older than me, we have been together for 2 1/2 years, and plan to get married. Older men are just more mature, i think.

None of his business as long as you don't have a disease to pass on to him. I have never ever told my husband who I lost my virginity to because it is the one "secret" I like to keep to myself.I actually have never told anyone who I lost it to and I don't think the guy knows either. And this was some 30 years ago.

i'm not really understanding ur dilemma here...if u r over the legal age limit then ur ex's age shouldn't b an issue...if this is bothering u so much then go ahead and tell him...the only one that seems b making it such a big deal is u...if he loves u then he will accept the truth and u guys can move on with ur relationship...gud luck with what ever u decide...

Let sleeping dogs lie. If you become fixated on this it will ruin the good times you could be having. Forget about it. If its meant to come out it will. There is no law that says you must disclose all sexual partners to your current one based upon their ages.....

Let dead dogs lay!!!! It would serve no useful purpose!! It's in the past, don't bring it into the present!!!
