THAT OLD MAN NEEDS TO GO AWAY

Absolutely. Hopefully far, far away. Sometime in life you just have to accept the fact that you aren't young anymore and give it up. He can't even leap into the stands without help. The only problem if he retires is that one of the networks is sure to crown him as the next sports anchorman on Sunday afternoon and we'll have to put up with him for who knows how long. Gee, Favre is annoying and so are Packer fans.

Brett is not young but he hasn't embarrassed himslef yet. He's 6 touchdowns from the all time record he's a legend.Seems as though everyone has gone anti-Favre this year.He did not have a bad season he threw for just under 4000 yards, which is better then most. The Packers were 3 points away from making the playoffs this year. And is he has a hard time letting go of the game he loves so be it.It doesn't matter that he's old he can still play better then someone like Rex Grossman who is what, maybe 28.

Farve should go ahead and play for at least one more season, so he can shatter all of Marino's records. His consecutive starts record will never be touched.
