The fact is that she is very important to me because of being my best friend not for she is somebody whom I love. Notice that if you tell her, you may lose her for ever!

Why would you lose her forever? That is rediculous.

You can tell her how you feel and if she feels the same, then great!

If she feels differently and is mature about it, she can say "I am flattered that you feel that way about me, however I am not attracted to you in that way." Then she would continue the relationship as it was...unless you try to kiss her or get too touchy feely .

You're at a point, where most successful Marriages start from. Too many relationships, start as business, Lust, or fear of being alone. Starting off as Best Friends. Will always be the best way to start. Glad to see some happiness. Friends won't hurt their Real Friends. You'll be fine!

Life is all about taking chances. Tell her how you feel and find out if she feels the same way. If she doesn't isn't it better to know sooner then later? When a purely platonic friendship starts to feel the pull of romance then it's not the same relationship at that point. If you keep your distance now that your feeling have changed you would be dishonest both to her and to yourself. My vote is to tell her.

Unless one or both of you are married then I would say, "JUST CUT IT OUT"

You answered your own question - you will lose her. Unless the two of you get married, sooner or later you will lose her as a friend and then you will miss her for years and years as a friend!

Unless you are sure that SHE feels that you are that special man for her, it's not worth attempting anything.

i did fall in love with my best friend and one day i told him how if felt about him. he said that he had felt that way for some time. i think that you should just ask how she feels about you and if she would like to be more than just friends. i've been with my best friend for more than 5 years and we are still best friends.
