my b/f told me he loves me....but now he hasn't contacted me for a week...why?

he told me he loved me heaps and heaps and i said i loved him too....that was on wednesday...he hasnt even msgd my fone...it is now Monday...
why is he doing this? was it something i did?
(he said it first not me)

Maybe something happened to him? TRy calling his family or when you call him does he pick up???? If hes young maybe he just scared?
