I'd say Riley....

I'm not a big fan of either guy, but I have to say Phil Jackson. At least Jackson didn't quit on his team and decide to have surgery when the team was breaking down before his very eyes.

You want to talk about inheriting lucky teams? Stan Van Gundy leaves to "spend more time with his family" and Pat Riley steps in with a team of Shaq and Wade. Wow, how convenient was that.

Right now, Jackson has Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odom, and a bunch of no-namers winning ball games for him because his system works.

C'mon, you've gotta go with Phil Jackson. Coached the Bulls to 6 nba championship wins and the lakers to 3 championship wins. He's got 9 championships as a coach and has been able to allow his great players develop and keep everyone's egos in check. Everyone will say, "well he had Michael Jordan and Shaq and Kobe." But it takes a great coach to make all of that work, not just the players. I'd take Phil over Pat any day.

I give the edge to Jackson. Riley coached thug teams in New York, and last year in Miami. Jackson has a better philosphy, learned from a better coach when he played.

Pat Reily is clearly the better coach.

Phil Jackson gets all of the hype and media being in LA!
I mean the guy coaches Koby, one of the best players in the league.

I would put my money on Pat anytime!
